A brief about me…
In my young days, my mother taught me how to lace a sewing machine, spin a bobbin and some minor usage of patterns. I have always loved fashion. I love looking at windows for interesting looks and design. I remember going through my mother´s vintage closet or she would take me to thrift stores to gather materials needed to make my next article. Some of my first modifications was a black and white daisy printed pair of bell bottoms. I proceeded to mark, pin, sew and cut them into a pair of skinny pants. Then there was the white full midi skirt I dismantled to attach to the top portion of an old pair of jeans. I am fortunate to descend from ancestors of seamstresses. Its in my blood. My mind swims in designs, patterns and puzzles to master in real tangible form.I gather and use resourced materials found from varying facets. I find inspirations from all forms of fashion avenues. I shrewdly dismantle, cut, pin, mark, tie, bind and stitch clever creations for my fashion pleasure to become wearable art.
I am open to commissions. I enjoy making concept-custom designs, using resourced materials.
For example
Send me your ideas, 4-5 photos of your design concept ideas (not your pinterest outfit board). We exchange banter, communicating concepts, designs, sizing, occasion, pricing, etc. Then, you send me 4-5 (back of the closet) items, you want me to make, better than bespoke, magic with. No patterns used here, I use imagery as inspirations, just my clever craft with a sewing machine.
